I am passionate about all things horses, especially helping retired racehorses transition to new careers through CANTER Ohio, a volunteer organization dedicated to rehome hundreds of horses each year.

I am……….Tenacious

I am someone to turn to if you want something done and done right. I am stubborn (sometimes) and witty (sometimes) and creative (always) and obsessed (usually).

I am……….Playful

My personal philosophy says that life is short -- have fun & live in the moment. From flamingoes on my toes to high-heeled baseball shoes to a superman belt-buckle, I love to be the odd girl out.

I am……….Daring

At age 6, I jumped out of a treehouse holding an umbrella because my big brother told me that I could be the next Mary Poppins. Since that day I have never shied away from a challenge.

I am……….Discerning

I relish a good dill pickle and my favorites are those huge deli dills the size of a soda can that you need to wear a raincoat to eat because pickle juice squirts everywhere.

I am……….Logophilic

I read great literature, and the literary equivalent of fast food. I am a lover of words and poetry and prose and stories and lyrics and ideas that get under your skin and make your heart beat faster.

Mascots make me happy. There is something about how exuberant they are, the harmless mischief they instigate in the stands, the emotional response of the crowd to their antics.

I consider it an honor to recommend Polly Sue Poppy as a valuable part of any team that has the best interest of the student at heart. Each one of us can look back on the impact we have made in this life, Polly Sue Poppy should feel confident that her life’s work (while not complete) has changed countless lives.
